Recently EmploySecure.com founder, Chuck McLaughlin, was interviewed at the 91st Annual Conference for the World Association of Detectives, Inc. This year’s conference took place from September 13th to 18th in Bucharest, Romania.
Our team at EmploySecure.com is extremely proud of our founder. He got his start as an independent private investigator in 1990, and has become a very trusted professional within the field. He is the President of McLaughlin Investigative Group, Inc., and is the former President of the World Association of Detectives, Inc.
During his recent interview, he was mainly asked about his life as a private investigator, but we think some of his answers apply to our clients as well. Here are a couple of his answers:
Q: Is being a private investigator like in the movies?
“I’m afraid it’s not like TV… I sit at a computer 8-10 hours per day… Information is much more readily available online these days, but you still have to be able to find, decipher it, and be able to produce the report and the information that your client needs.”
Q: What are the most interesting cases?
“Discovering information that no one was aware of is what makes it exciting… that is what is going to make the client happy, and satisfy their needs, and protect their interests, and that’s what gets me excited everyday.”
